Range Safety officers

Why become a NRA Certified Range Safety Officer (RSO)

NRA Range Safety Officers are people who possess the knowledge, skills, and attitude essential to organizing, conducting, and supervising safe shooting activities and range operations.

Also Range Safety Officers have a complete understanding of roles and responsibilities, range standard operating procedures, range inspection and range rules, firearm stoppages and malfunctions, and attend Range Safety Briefings which include emergency procedures.

•  Interact with local firearms owners.
•  Free shooting at HDRGC.
•  A key to the range, allowing you to shoot at your convenience.
•  Attend RSO meetings to make our range a safer and more enjoyable experience for our shooters.

RSO Duties & Responsibilities

•  Abide by NRA safety procedures
•  Abide by HDRGC Standard Operating Procedures
•  Serve one four hour shift once a month at HDRGC
